This piece is from the mid Victorian era. It has been tested to have a 18k gold back and a sterling silver top. The piece weighs 21.3 grams and measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". It can be worn as a brooch or it has extensions to add a chain to make it into a pendant. The piece holds around 75 rose cut natural diamonds. It is missing one diamond off to the side which is hard to see. Set in the center is a 9.8 mm golden South Sea Pearl. The pin is in great condition.
